Our mission is support and promote riders to reach their desired level and to get riders wearing Hull Thursday shirts winning races. We have a wealth of experience within the club to make you a winner. The club promotes a large programme of events for its members at all age levels and abilities. If you are intending to enter races or you would like more information on how to start racing then contact me. Best Wishes for a safe 2007 Racing season.
We want to introduce some variety into the club programme.Over the past year we have run a "sporting time trial series" which proved very popular. Run on quiet safer countryside roads, the various courses provided a chance to use a number of bike handling skill like cornering, fast decents, constant gear changes and some challenging hill climbs, all add to gaining more experience for road racing. We hope by promoting these events that this will provide a basis to encourage younger or new members to give racing a go.
As you can see we cater for a wide cross-section of cycling disciplines and there's someone dedicated to each one. And it's thanks to these people, our sponsors and all the members and friends of HTRC that this club's what it is today and has a future to look forward to. So let's share our success. If you're planning an event let's advertise it; if you're performing well let's spread the word; and that's what I'm here for. So tell me about it! . . . It's better than the grapevine.
