John Bell Cup - Lockington Circuit

Another 100% turn out for the club Team Time Trial around Lockington when just a week ago there were 15 non starters on virtually the same course in the open. It was a better night, more wind and less rain and much warmer.

First back was Neil and Paul, 24.02 for a distance a bit short of 11 miles. Not bad. They'd passed four other teams on the way, just managing Ian and Val Brabiner in the finishing straight and the first five teams finished within a minuet and half, after two minute start intervals. But then there was a five minute wait for the next batch led by Dave Green and Chris Peers. The next five teams got around without catching anyone. After John Lockwood and Tony Boynton arrived with another 24 minute ride there was speculation about what Jon and Steve were going to do. Another five minutes saw them come in with nearly a minute to spare. The last two teams followed shortly, if fact there was only 16 minutes between the first and last teams to arrive back.
