Fulstow Wins the Hudson Trophy
The
thirteenth event of the series, nearing the end of the series,
and the season, saw a reduced field for the Bob Hudson Trophy.
So reduced in fact that this is the least I've seen in any
of Paul Kilvington's time trial series. Nevertheless Dean
Fulstow rode well with a minute and hald margin over Tony
Boynton. Chris Garden improved tremendously beating Paul
Kilvington into the bargain.
The
afternoon was windy and the threatened shower didn't appear.
To put Dean's ride into perspective it is over 25 mph on
a course that undulates over rough roads with a number of
sharp corners. I make that the equivalent of 22.27 for a
10 although the course is only roughly ll miles around.
What then do you think of Chris Whitelam's time? He rode
a private trial showing us how it can be done, in 23.54.
You should be riding the series for real, Chris.
