Thompson Cup - Molescroft 24 mile Circuit

For once we got a near perfect night - and most of the riders would agree they seemed to enjoy the 2-up which starts just outside of Beverley toward Driffield, then accross to Bainton and back to Molescroft. 24 Miles in all and some fairly good times done.

Dave Shackleton and Neil Cleminshaw won the battle between themselves and the Jon Dibble-Steve Macklin pair, and with over 20 secs to spare. And everyone had a piece of the cake, more than half the teams (remember it's only a club event) beat the hour ove the fairly undulating course.

First man back was Mike Pickering, unfortunately with a puncture which he sustained before he got to Leconfield - which makes Chris Burton's 1.00.07 quite a good ride on his own. But first pair back to Graeme (timekeeper) was Dean Fulstow and Tim White. I think it too Time about half an hour to get his breath back but he was pleased with what he'd done, although he did give credit to Dean for dragging him round most of the way.
