Saturday 17th Jan
Reasonably fine day on the Cottingham circuit, there were four groups around the circuit. Scratch group swelled up to 12 in number, too big for everyone to work, I'll have to split this into two groups next week maybe.
Learners - Alan Gay took Joe Kirkup, joined by Alan Whittaker
1st group - Peter Smith, John Galbraith, Paul Hayward, Mick Adams and Derek Palmer
2nd group - Tristan Batch, Nathan Chester, Mark Best, Chris Burton, Stephen Guymer, Graeme Lawton, Paul Kilvington and Richard Bielby
Scratch (extra lap) Paul Purdy, Chris Daddy, Mark Dicconson, Ryan Maclachlan, Paul Noton, Dan Keena, Mike Moss, Kevin Eckersall, Steve Ward, Neil Cleminshaw, Jon Dibble and Steve Macklin.

The scratch group covered their distance in 1.1.28, getting faster over each lap and absorbing group two. Group one kept together and did the eight laps in 1.3.02. Next week is at Brantingham on the short circuit - all welcome
