HTRC Road Race on 17/05/09 ended in a bunch sprint after 6 laps of hard racing on the Newbald circuit. Adam Hardy (Private) and Chris Clark (Team Chevin Bang & Olufsen) held the bunch off for almost 5 laps against a strong head wind over the climb but were caught in the closing stages of the race. Congratulations to Peter Hinchliffe (Dinnington RC) who won the sprint convincingly. David Brearley (Cottingham Coureurs) came 2nd and Peter Fielding-Smith (Hull Thursday RC) took 7th place.
Many thanks go to all the helpers (marshalls, HQ helpers, drivers etc) who ensured that the race was a success.
