Brantingham Circuit
After last week's crash at the end of the session I was a bit concerned that the groups would get together much easier on this shorter circuit. Paul Kilvington suggested I start the groups in reverse and, for safety sake, I thought we'd give it a try. The circuit may be shorter but it's a teeny bit harder but the short little incline to 'Don's' corner in Brantingham makes your sore legs ache more than ever. I think you all had a very good workout, and I got some wonderful pained expressions.
As the groups were reversed and the fastest group went off first the gaps between groups are irrelevant. So, in group one, we had David Brearley, Karl Downes Nathan Wilson, Peter Fielding-Smith, Richard Moore, John Ketley, Ryan MacLachlan, Chris Daddy, Mark Ollerenshaw, Brian Greensmith and Lee Watson.
Group two were all Malton lads, Tom Atkinson, Paul Hickman, Matthew Enticknap and Chris Goodway. Thay are all of a similar ability but it would be nice to integrate them with soem other riders.
Group three was Mark Philipson, Paul Kilvington, Andy Tummons, Steve Macklin, Mark McKeown, Craig Medcalf, Dave Hudson and Rob Busby.
Group Four consisted of Mark Robinson, Simon Mason, Christian Colbeck, Mike Kilgour, Neil Dean, Scott Redmond and Rob Stones.
Last group was Paul Hayward, Jodie Brumhead, Mike Adams, John Fenton and Sarah Tock. They were joined by two novices Alex Saleh and Richard Allen but they were already split up by then, Paul style of power down the straights was too much for them to stay together.

It was a lot more difficult to keep track of the lap times but I'm sure they're useful to you. They say there's no gain with no pain so I guess you all had a good workout. Thanks again to Don, Terry, Barry, Dennis and Mally for marshalling, and to Richard for getting the laps times.
